Costa Rica's National Coast Guard Service and police seized about two tonnes of cocaine and arrested two Costa Ricans and three Colombian nationals residing in Costa Rica, the Public Security Ministry said during a news conference on Wednesday. Authorities seized three suspicious boats in Punta Tigre, close to the border with Panama. Three boats were carrying fuel and the other was loaded with about two tonnes of cocaine divided in nearly 1,963 packages. A total of 1,963 kilograms of cocaine was confiscated, according to deputy security minister Walter Navarro.
